DORMONT, PA — Keystone Oaks High School teachers have notified district school directors of a 44-2 no confidence vote taken Monday on Principal Michael Linnert.
In the letter from the Keystone Oaks Education Association, concerns were raised about Linnert's inexperience, poor communication, lack of student discipline and the absence of a clear vision for the future.
"Mr. Linnert's actions have led us feeling disrespected, degraded and distrusted," the letter stated. "He does not prioritize student of staff safety, providing no support or consistency in dealing with student behavior.
"His poor interpersonal relationships with the staff, and poor decision making in general, have left members in the building with a sense of low morale and a deep concern for the safety of our students."
The letter urges the school board to take immediate action and make changes.
Patch has reached out to Linnert for comment.
