LAKE OSWEGO, OR — While many people were excited when California-based In-n-Out Burger finally moved up to Oregon, the similarly-located Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf believes that they might inspire an even stronger reaction. Coffee Bean just opened its first Oregon outlet. It's in Lake Oswego. "Coffee isn't just a beverage in Oregon, it's a culture and a highly desirable market for any coffee retailer," Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf President of Americas and India Sanjiv Razdan said. "We believe we can play an important role in the area's coffee segment with our high-quality, handcrafted coffee." Razdan added that the Lake Oswego store "underscores our commitment to bringing our beloved beverages to more guests and demonstrates our strength as a leading roaster and retailer." The Lake Oswego store is at 1175 McVey Avenue and open seven days a week. The store is being operated by Bambuza Hospitality Group, which operates four Vietnamese restaurants in the area. "We are thrilled to bring this iconic brand and its passionate following to the Portland-area," Bambuza CEO Daniel Nguyen said. "It's a great fit for Lake Oswego. "We're excited to forge strong partnerships locally, supporting schools and community causes in Lake Oswego."
