Brewery Vivant, located at 925 Cherry St. SE, will release eight variations of Farm Hand on draft. The brewery is asking the community's help in choosing which variant will become a market regular. (MLive.com)East Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation is hoping to attract more lifeguards by offering a $200 signing bonus. The department is needing to recruit an additional 10-20 lifeguards. Applicants can expect a $15 hourly wage with flexible scheduling. (FOX 17 West Michigan News)The Grand Rapids African American Museum and Archives hope to purchase the office building on State Street SE between Jefferson and Lafayette avenues for an estimated $5.3 million. The new location would allow the museum to host community events such as movies, lectures, receptions, funerals, weddings, and various other community-focused gatherings.
