PHOENIX, AZ — One person is dead after a wrong-way collision on I-10 in Phoenix early Wednesday morning, according to Arizona Department of Public Safety. The crash happened when a car that was headed east in the westbound lanes of I-10 near U.S. 60 collided with a commercial truck, a department spokesperson said. The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the department. Interstate 10 west was closed for some time following the crash but has since reopened.
