TUSCALOOSA, AL — Madeline Martin, a junior communications major at the University of Alabama, won a landslide victory at the ballot box Wednesday to become the next president-elect for the UA Student Government Association. Martin carried 7,814 votes, or 77%, as just over 10,000 ballots were cast. Click here to see the full results, complete with the expected list of humorous write-ins. The results will be certified after spring break, pending review by the SGA's Judicial Review Board.
