Press release from the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County: March 8, 2022 Are you interested in volunteering at the U.S. Paralympics Cycling Open in Huntsville? We have a number of slots available and would love to have your help. Any cycling/race experience is helpful, but not required. Please read about each of the volunteer opportunities below, and you'll see signup links next to each one. Course Marshals Course Marshals work with event staff to manage traffic and crowd control on race course, and ensure riders are kept safe from elements outside of race course. Anti-Doping Anti-Doping Chaperone – medical (non-skilled) – having a medical license is not required. Chaperone will escort rider to and from anti-doping location, assist in administering the appropriate paperwork on behalf of the anti-doping agency. Hospitality Assist staff in checking in/out VIPs & event guests. Bring a smile and be ready to have fun! Production at Site Assist with banners and general, light duty setup of the event venue and infrastructure.
