INGLEWOOD, CA — Both directions of the 405 Freeway were reopened in Inglewood early Wednesday as a jumper halted traffic and reportedly set a small fire near the Manchester onramp, according to CHP.
A man apparently took off his clothes and was putting red paint on his hands and upper body, just northbound on the 405 Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reports. All lanes were closed about 8:30 a.m.
Officials were holding traffic until the fire was out. One lane had reopened on the northbound side by 8:46 a.m. All lanes had reopened after 9 a.m.
