Industrial Wastewater and Chemical Treatment Operator Well established metal finishing supplier is searching for an experienced chemical/water treatment operator at its facility in Stockton CA RESPONSIBILITIES: • Operate equipment to purify and clarify water or to process or dispose of Industrial wastewater • Adhere to all city, state & federal water discharge limits • Follow all internal Standard Operating Procedures • Clean and maintain equipment, tanks, filter beds, and other work area • Inspect and calibrate equipment and measuring devices on a regular basis • Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges • Analyze plating bath chemistry for various elements and possibly assist Lab Technician • Maintain proper chemical inventory levels to avoid "Stock Outs" • Monitor the variability of bath parameters & establish & modify control procedures • Perform daily & weekly bath analyses • Communicates status of testing samples to General Manager • Follows all safety procedures including general site safety rules If interested, please send resume.
