Cooling Tower Technician - Fluid-Tek

Fluid-Tek, the Cooling Tower Refurbishment Division of Johnson Barrow, is seeking technicians for full-time work. Description of daily work: -Cooling tower unit is disassembled using basic hand/ power tools -Old components are removed, which can vary from plastic fill media, to mechanical components like fan wheels, steel shafts, and bearings -The interior sheet metal will be ground down using mechanical grinder to prep for the coating that gets rolled/brushed onto the prepped metal surface. -The new components that were removed in the first phase will then be brought up the stairs/elevator if available, and reinstalled in the cooling tower Physical requirements: -Ability to use basic hand/power tools -Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs -Ability to climb up and down ladders -This position can require the use of a dust mask or possibly respirator -Requires trips up, and down stairs if no freight elevator is available.
