Furget Me Not Inc. is an all volunteer organization that funds and assists with animal welfare resources for Shelters, Animal Control Officers, and the public. Are you without other pets in the home and have the time to care for a dog for a week, weekend or two weeks? Everything you need to foster short term is provided such as their crate, bed, toys, treats, bowls, food, walking gear etc. You'd meet the dog first and take them home for a night to see if you're comfortable caring for the for longer. If so, you're welcomed to foster for the week or more if you are able to. At any time if you're unable to then you'd return the dog. Short Term foster homes help us eliminate or decrease the time that dogs and cats have to spend in a boarding facility or kennel. We are currently searching for a foster home for an 8 year old Shepherd who is extremely friendly and very well house trained. He is on multiple medications for arthritis and prefers hanging out and shorter walks versus a lot of activity. We also have a 5 year old coonhound who is looking for a foster home. He is working on his house training and doing well being in a crate when he isn't on walks or being watched in the house. He is a quiet boy!
