Full Job Description Jackson Movers are looking for a Branch Manager to assign and direct all work performed in the branch and to supervise all areas of operation. You will manage staff, maintain a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity. Family business and great team! -Pay range: (FULL TIME) Salary + Incentives based on experience What You’ll Do • Supervise and dispatch mover/driver teams daily; coordinate employee scheduling and truck assignments • Foramen experience is required/preferred • Complete various dispatch duties, including: performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction, and vehicle inspections. • Lead by example in performance, attitude, attendance and work ethic; responsible for team development and motivation • Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, and oversee new employee onboarding and training • Coordinate and direct truck maintenance and equipment inventory; ensure trucks and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner. • Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines • Responsible for employee development and accountability. • Responsible for being an available contact outside of normal business hours • All other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For • High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred • Business, management, operations, or other relevant experience is preferred • Valid driver's license and safe driving record • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) • Demonstrated ability to lead by example to motivate, develop and direct people • Ability to assess the performance of self, employees, and franchise to make improvements or take corrective action • Strong decision-making ability • Basic truck/vehicle knowledge helpful • Experience in the fields of general labor, management, non-CDL transportation, landscaping, construction, project management, logistics, production, manufacturing, assembly, factory or warehouse helpful
