We are a small, woman-owned business that specializes in the ethically raising of French Bulldogs/Frenchies. High Desert Frenchies believes in providing affordable family Frenchies that are ethically bred and raised. We raise all of our puppies with compassion and love. Having been in the business for over 7 years, we understand the unique needs that go into successfully breeding and raising happy and healthy Frenchies. All of our puppies come from beautiful, sought-after bloodlines and are never raised in cages or kennels. Both the mother (dam) and father (sire) are AKC registered and pass health checks before we match them for breeding. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, we pamper our pups from the moment they are born. Our mommies live the life of luxury, too. We feed both mommy and her babies Diamond dog food which is a Family-owned company that makes all of their food here in the U.S.A. All of the toys they play with are made in the US, as well. We especially prefer Nylabone. We have a bedroom that has been converted to a nursery for mom and her babies. Everything that is needed to care for mom and the baby Frenchies is there. Wee-wee pads, pet-friendly cleaning products, spare blankets and beds, and even medical items such as a nebulizer and incubator. Did we mention that there is a spare bed in the nursery? This allows us to be there 24/7 during the first few weeks the puppies are born. At 6 weeks of age, we begin to safely introduce the puppies to the other furry family members and also take them outside for a little fun in the sun. Socializing the puppies with other dogs, cats, and even chickens (yes, we said chickens) allows for them to more easily transition into a family’s home with other pets. We also begin basic training at this age. It is important for puppies to begin learning basic commands such as “leave it”, “drop it”, “no”, and “good boy/girl”.
