Full Time Maintenance Tech - $18-$25 Based on experience + Benefits + 401K + PTO The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of duties for our commercial, retail, residential and senior communities as well as general building and construction projects. Responsibilities will include general labor work, gathering equipment/ supplies, ensure that all facilities are in a safe condition and handling all maintenance request in a timely, efficient, matter. In addition, this position will also include daily duties such as general building and construction, painting, improvement projects, routine seasonal maintenance and all other duties assigned by the Asset Manager. Primary Responsibilities: Fulfilling daily tasks in a timely fashion Delivering friendly customer service while completing tasks Maintain and troubleshoot basic appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, washer/dryers) General grounds keeping including minor custodial work, picking up trash, pulling weeds and maintaining curb appeal and common areas Ability to troubleshoot, think ahead, plan, recommend solutions/ideas On-call availability for emergency response Communication with the Asset Manager Work as a team with supervisor and other sub-contractors Complete post construction punch lists Excellent communication with team members Clean/organize job sites/job trailer Additional Accountabilities: Experience with hand and power tools Experience with rough framing, decks, minor finish work Minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC Minor painting/drywall experience is a plus Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs Must have a Can and Will Do attitude Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Must be able to work in all weather conditions Enforce proper company policies and procedures Knowledge and Skills Required: General Building and Construction - Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures Equipment Selection - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job Able to communicate with customers and have strong organizational skills Prior experience (minimum of 2 years) Working well independently and on a team
