Worthington Christian Village is a great place to work offering a total ministry to the senior adults of Central Ohio. Our dietary department is looking for a full time/part-time prep cook, servers, and utility staff. The ideal candidate for these positions will have excellent customer service skills, be outgoing, interact well with our senior residents, and be dependable for every other weekend and some holidays. Some of the responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: COOK: -Preparing all menu items according to recipes and production sheets. -Provide all required menu items for Main dining room. Assisted Living dining room, and Healthcare Center dining room. -Help maintain accurate temperatures of all food items and record them in the food log. -Some baking will be required. SERVER/UTILITY: - Provide excellent customer service to residents and guest - Maintain the flow of dishes coming in from the dining room - Clean, sweep, and mop all kitchen areas - Maintain, clean, and organize stockrooms and paper goods area - Maintain a clean and organized environment for all refrigerators and freezers - Regularly breaks down boxes and take out trash - Assist in transporting food items to assigned floors when needed -Assist residents and guest with seating and selection of menu items.
