2 yo male western hognose snake (Heterodon nasicus) named "Igor" looking for a new home. Igor is a very cool little snake, but needs someone with experience as he can be a bit feisty when being handled by new people. He is in great condition and eats frozen-thawed pinkies very well (about 1-2 per week) by tong feeding. He needs someone to work with him to get him more comfortable with handling. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time I did when I first got him and he is handled much less than he should be. He used to comfortable with handling and enrichment time (I used to let him climb around my indoor plants, which he loved), but he has not been handled regularly in several months. I would like to rehome him with his current habitat set-up. Asking $250 rehoming fee for him and his set-up, including: 20 gal tank with locking lid, several hides, water bowl, lights (heat and UV), adhesive heat pad, habitat decor, temperature probe, small travel container, etc. Given his species, he should never outgrow this 20 gal tank. Hognose snakes need someone with a moderate amount of snake experience, so I am looking for someone with at least previous snake ownership to offer him the perfect home. Serious inquires only.
