In this position you will play a key role in keeping our commitment to exceed customer expectations and make sure customer orders, large or small, are delivered on time at the right place. General Responsibilities: • Partner with Operations Managers, Dispatchers, and HR Manager to coordinate, facilitate, and measure training related activities • Track performance and provide identified retraining and process improvement opportunities • Support standard work and safety programs • Lead all learning and operational audits Job Status: $ 60-65,000 / Full Time / 5 days / 5am start time / schedule availability (Weekends) Company Resources / Equipment: Laptop / Mobile Phone / Uniform Industry: Transportation / Delivery / White Glove Residential Delivery – Installation Expectations: • Work and act safely at all times. • Enhance the customer's shopping experience. • Ability to multitask in a customer focused, fast paced environment. • Consistently being able to train drive teams how to interact with our customers in a courteous and professional manner. • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism. • Train our teams to assemble furniture in a customer's home. • Ability to inspect, wrap, pack and load furniture. • Consistently make good decisions with minimal supervision. • You must have excellent listening skills and the ability to work as a team leader and be hands on. • Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of Sr. branch management. Qualifications: • Five years delivery and home décor assembly experience. • Customer service skills. • Work safely in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment. • Must be able to work weekends. • Must be comfortable reading maps and operating GPS units. • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Must have a valid driver's license • Must pass MVR investigation / all DOT required pre-employment criteria / drug test. • Experience with 24-26ft straight/box trucks (as driver/ drivers’ assistant or Dock loader) • Schedule availability (Weekends) Physical Requirements: • Have the ability to consistently lift/move furniture, bedding and accessories in excess of 100lbs. • Continuously lift, lower, push, pull all sizes of furniture up to and in excess of 100 lbs. • Deliver furniture to in a variety of outdoor weather conditions.
