We are looking to add several Maintenance Assistants/Groundskeepers to our world class teams in Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor, MI. Several of our apartment communities have an immediate need and new employees would be added to a team that's located closest to the employee. These positions are ENTRY LEVEL and no previous experience required. Schedule: 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Monday - Friday. Full Time and Part Time availability will be considered. Pay: Starting at $13.00 per hour with potential $2 minimum raise at end of summer for employees who wish to join the Maintenance Team permanently. Duties: - Walk the grounds of the property. Checking for any safety issues and correcting anything that could impact the property's curb appeal. ie: trash pick up, tidying flowerbeds, straightening chairs/tables/loungers in pool area, among others. - Complete small projects at the property: painting, light general labor. - Assist the Maintenance Team with apartment repairs. Be an extra set of hands. - Provide exceptional, high-level customer service. - Must be able to work outdoors, able to lift up to 50 lbs., able to walk/stoop/bend/lift/twist/kneel This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who would like to get their foot in the door with a company that has many growth options. Including potential cross-training in skilled trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Appliance Repair). This position is designed to assist with our busy season which is now until beginning of fall.
