Meet Max, a 5 year old sweet black lab, we adopted him at 1 years old at the pound. He was anxious at first but quickly became warm and friendly. He spends most his time being a couch potato but loves snuggles, chasing butterflies and moths in the back yard and also enjoys a good game of fetch. He is extremely low maintenance with a little eye allergy that goes away with a warm cloth and some Zyrtec. He is a great alert/guard dog, he is very loyal to a loving owner. Fully potty trained and up to date on all shots. Knows basic commands and listens very well. Sit, stay, down, drop and shake :) His perfect home would have NO small kids, he loves kids but has a history of showing aggression when not wanting to be touched while laying down. Someone who knows good boundaries would be perfect! Someone who doesn't mind him lounging on the couch or sleeping on a rug. He doesn't require a ton of attention but will never deny it. He's very clean but does shed, not like a ton though. He would do best in a home with a dog that knows good boundaries, he's not the biggest fan of male dogs but loves female dogs. He was amazing with all my cats in the past including kittens which he "mothered" lol Everyone falls in love with him. Unfortunately, due to inflation, and my household growing out of my house I have to rehome him in the best interest of my financial and living situation.
