The Bath Installation Trainer will oversee the quality of installs and training of installation teams on the West Coast for American Standard’s Home Services Division. This critical position will position this fast-growing division to continue American Standard’s 140-year-old tradition of unmatched quality and innovation. The ideal candidate will possess impeccable standards for bath installs, a coaching mindset, and the ability to motivate installation teams to produce 5-star quality installs. Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 Annually Status: Full Time Reporting to the Regional Installation Manager, the Bath Installation Trainer will use their years of experience in bath installation to inspect finished installs and train installation teams to produce higher quality installs more efficiently. Job Duties: Conduct random installation inspections of new and existing installers. Complete initial training sessions with installer prospects to assist with the onboarding process. Complete Installer Evaluation forms to identify additional training opportunities. Complete remedial training sessions with installers responsible for poor workmanship. Resolve escalated service tickets for product failures and workmanship errors. Complete regional training exercises for new installation techniques and product changes. Assist Service team with customer support phone calls when necessary. Provide weekly reporting summary on all product failures and workmanship-related problems. Conduct Service inspections for high-profile disputes to identify the root cause and next steps. Complete Uninstall/Reinstalls when needed to address high-level customer disputes. Essential Skills: Valid Driver’s License required Minimum of 3 years of field experience in bath or general remodeling experience. Significant travel is required, up to 75% or greater. Must be computer literate in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be professional and have a good command of business English. Experience working directly with Home Improvement contractors is a plus. Strong communication skills that enable challenging discussions with Installer network and/or customers, ability to relate to distinct audiences including customers, sales representatives, installers, and various levels of management. A positive customer service attitude is a must.
