Wanted:Bass player in Latin,straight ahead Jazz & Brazilian rhythms (Fontana & Surrounding) PS Fontana is only 30 minutes from La Verne/Claremont/Glendora.... To be within 45 minutes or closer to avoid heavy traffic..... ''I am looking for a bass player who is able to handle the styles mentioned below.''... To have a once a week rehearsal/jam at mid-day. I would prefer a''Mature 50 + or ''A RETIRED" players who are into music theory with full knowledge in - reading chord structures in -all keys - and have improvisation skills.My instruments are the Vibraphone and Piano. Its very rare to get gigs in those styles these days, since rock & country music are most popular! Maybe getting a gig ''here and there'' in some restaurant for a sophisticated audience that likes Jazz tunes from the golden era of the 20's through the 80's....
