Please help! A feral mother gave birth on our property 1 year ago from today. She left her 2 kittens at our front door after a couple of months - these 2 kittens have been roaming at our front door since & we’ve been feeding them & giving them water as needed. In August last year, the same feral mother cat gave birth to 3 more kittens… in our garage! we’ve contacted the Humane Society at that time & were told they couldn’t take them because they were too young. After they passed 12 weeks old, we’ve contacted the Humane Society again & they told us, now that we’ve been feeding them, they’re no longer feral. We’re moving out of our house this coming Saturday, 3/12 & don’t know what to do with these kittens & don’t have the money to pay to surrender 5 cats or have the time to make all these appointments to surrender them. We’re concerned that if we take them to the Humane Society, they’re going to get released back to our house that we vacated. One of the females was recently fixed - a couple weeks ago she went into heat & was just being bombarded by male stray cats in the neighborhood. She went missing for a couple days last week & came back last Friday 3/4 with a notch in her ear & stitches. Someone in our neighborhood must’ve took her to get fixed.
