Danielle Smith – Vice President of Global HR, Shape Corporation - will speak on "Talent Acquisition / Retention". NADCA Chapters 3 and 39 are pleased to present our first meeting of 2022. This years theme is "Re-Connecting", we are all looking forward to returning to normal operation. Please join us as we welcome Ms. Danielle Smith., Vice President of Global HR at Shape Corporation. She will be presenting on a topic that is very important to us; "Talent Acquisition / Retention" As we move into a new chapter in Manufacturing, we need to be creative in our efforts to find talented team members and retaining them is going to be a very important part of our recovery. She has extensive experience in finding and keeping talented individuals at Shape Corporation. This promises to be an interactive session that will help you explore ideas on how to make returning a reality.   Danielle Smith was born & raised in Battle Creek, MI, in a manufacturing household. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and a Masters Degree in Labor Relations & Human Resources, both from Michigan State University. She has 20+ years of experience in Human Resources and currently leads the global HR functions at Shape Corporation, a Tier 1, automotive company based in Grand Haven, MI. Schedule for the Evening: 5:30 to 6:00 - Attitude Adjustment 6:00 to 7:00 - Dinner 7:00 to 8:00 - Presentation Cost: Same as years past, the dinner will be free for all members of NADCA. For our guests that are not members, dinner is $25. However, we encourage you to talk with one of our board members to become a member and take advantage of the benefits of membership. Students are free, regardless of NADCA membership status.
