Description

Ann Rozner will be joining us with tea and cucumber sandwiches as she teaches us about the wild teas of Wisconsin, and how to forage them. Participants will learn how to identify, harvest, preserve and prepare wild teas of Wisconsin. Samples of the hot teas will be served along with delicious snacks that compliment the teas. Ann Rozner grew up on a family dairy farm in Plover, Wisconsin. She attended UWSP for her undergraduate work in education and minored in Art. Later completing her graduate studies at Texas Woman’s University in Administration, she also attended a doctoral program at UWMadison. Ann volunteers in four non-profit local organizations. Foraging for wild plants in Central Wisconsin was handed down to her through four family generations and is only one of several hobbies she enjoys. Being a Master Gardener, she uses her long life learning attitude in foraging for local wild plants. Ann is passionate in teaching others to begin a journey by learning, harvesting and adding wild foods to a daily diet.
