The right person may be able to start as soon as 1 day after interview. Outdoor Images, Inc. is thriving and we are ready to bring on the right new Field Tech Assistant, full-time. Sign industry experience is helpful but not required. If you have a mechanical aptitude, can-do attitude, a clean driver license, reliable transportation, are trainable and desire to learn a trade that’s always in high-demand, then reach out to us via email or phone. Must be a team player. As a Field Technician Assistant, you will learn all facets of sign installation & service/repair by working with an experienced Field Technician Lead. You will be taught how to operate crane and boom trucks, excavation equipment, forklifts, various tools and other equipment. This is 90% outdoor work regardless of whether conditions. We work rain or shine. Daily hours are 7AM – 3:45PM but overtime is routine. Weekends off with a very rare requirement to work on Saturday or Sunday. Weekend work is generally no more than 4 or 5 weekends per year. Generally overnight travel is very limited. However, due to supply chain issues, many of our projects have backlogged and much of our upcoming work for March and April will require overnight stays in the Jacksonville, Miami and Gainesville areas. Typically, 2 or 3 nights out of town consecutively is the maximum. Company pays per diem for food and covers 100% of hotel costs when required to stay overnight.
