Join E3 Washington and the Project for Excellence in Environmental Education for this hands-on, minds-on workshop for ESE educators.
The Guidelines for Excellence in Environmental Education provide a set of recommendations and step-by-step instructions for developing or selecting high quality instructional materials and promoting excellence in EE.
We will focus on two sets of guidelines:
Guidelines for Excellence: Community EngagementGuidelines for Excellence: EE Materials This is also a Train-the-Trainers workshop. Upon successful completion, participants will be qualified to join the NAAEE Guidelines Trainers Bureau for Washington State. New trainers are supported by long-time members of the Trainers Bureau during workshops as needed. E3 Washington will invite new trainers to offer training in their regions through sessions supported by E3 Washington.
This workshop is intended for informal and formal environmental educators interested in bringing best practices in environmental education to their organization and the audience it serves. Particularly relevant to educators interested in community engagement and/or reviewing educational materials used by their organization.
