El Sistema Colorado is a free intensive music program serving Denver's youth. Amateur Night is a fundraiser to support our music programs. Amateur Night is your chance to finally learn the instrument you've been dying to play! Join El Sistema Colorado for a night of food and cocktails while learning to play your choice of violin, viola, cello, or bass from our expert teaching artists. All proceeds benefit El Sistema Colorado's free after school music program for youth in Denver. When? Thursday, April 21 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM - Doors open at 5:30 PM Where? Centro San Juan Diego (2830 Lawrence St, Denver, CO 80205) How Much Do Tickets Cost? $90. This includes an instrument rental for the night, your instrument class, food, drinks, and a concert. Class space is limited, so get your tickets quickly! What Are We Eating? Cocktails sponsored by Nocturne and heavy hors d'oeuvres sponsored by The Preservery. We promise it will be yummy. What Do I Wear? Arrive in your comfies. We like you just as you are... Where Do I Park? Limited spots are available in the parking lot. Street parking is also available. What Are We Doing? Choosing an instrument for a 35 minute class, listening to fantastic musicians, mingling with new people, all while raising funds and friends for El Sistema Colorado.
