K-9 Supervisor Class for command staff, K-9 coordinators, and K-9 supervisors. Free for current VPCA members. $50 per seat for non-members. Topics: • Handler Selection • Vendor Selection • K-9 Case Law • Training Hours/Requirements • Managing a K-9 Unit • General Order/Standard Operating Procedures • K-9 Use of Force • Report Writing • K-9 Supervisor Responsibilities • Maintaining K-9 Records This course will be held at no cost to all VPCA member agencies. Non-member agencies will be charged $50 per seat. A limited number of seats are available, with VPCA member agencies taking priority.
