Rails of Honor Reenactor Registration and Schedule
Reenactor Registration.
Come join us at the Bluegrass Railroad Musuem Rails of Honor event held this year on 21 May. (Armed Forces Day). The event will consist of displays and two train related battle scenario events We are looking for authentic /quality reenactors both Allied and Axis
Displays:
We are looking for both Allied an Axis displays. (Uniforms, Tents, Weapons, Vehicles)
The battle scenario will be the Germans defending the Railroad tracks in order to protect the bridge, they will have some sort of a blockade set up on the tracks to halt the train, in which time the Allied force will go on the offensive and try to push the Germans back and clear the tracks. This will be a fun day with train rides and public interaction! We hope you will join us to help the Bluegrass Railroad Museum.
Lunch meal provided on 21 May to all Registered Reenactors
Setup/Overnight stay:
Units are welcomed to setup and stay on 20 May , but must make coordination with supporting POCs
Schedule
0915 Safety and authenticity inspection
0930 Camp displays open to the public
1045 Load out for battle/ train and ground crew
1100 Train departs station
1100-1230 Train ride, battle, return to depot
1345 Load out for battle/ train and ground crew
1400- Train departs station
1400-1530 Train ride, battle, return to depot
1630 End of event
