The HBCU Experience College Fair was created to provide information and resources to help young people in their search for higher education. Back Like We Never Left!In partnership with Danville District 118, Laura Lee Fellowship House Association/UBUNTU Mentoring Program and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Mu Omega Chapter, this event is the ONLY of its kind in all of Central Illinois. Our aim is to expose several hundred young people to the lifestyle, culture and academic options available at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) nationwide. The Mission: To educate students and parents about the value of attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities.Assist Historically Black Colleges and Universities in locating quality candidates throughout Central Illinois.Increase awareness regarding programs and scholarship opportunities for underprivileged students.  THURSDAY, April 28, 2022 4:00pm to 6:30pm FREE and Open to the Public Targeted Grades:  8th-12th   Danville High School Fieldhouse (enter through Clock Tower) 202 E. Fairchild Street, Danville, IL 61832   Attendees are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to Pre-Register for this FREE College Fair. Registered attendees will be entered for multiple drawings and free prize give-a-ways during the event.
