Summery Maintain a clean and safe work area Inspect products for defects, irregularities, or damages Follow production schedule(s) and performs work as assigned by the production supervisor Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment. Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation and to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops. Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 months assembly experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment Team player with high work ethic Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50lbs regularly Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary) Analytical and numerical skills: the ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement Knowledge of metric system preferred Must be detail oriented Understanding of production and plant processes Ability to work in a team Ability to lift heavy equipment or parts, bend, and stand or walk for long periods of time Ability to understand and follow Standard Work Mechanical aptitude required; Must be able to set up equipment for optimum performance and adjust as needed Watching machine controls, gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure the machine is working properly Conduct product inspections to evaluate quality and performance Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary) Please come in to speak to a manager and fill out an application Tuesday - Thursday 11am-3pm 15002 Sommermeyer st Houston TX 77041
