Description
Recycled and Rejuvenated will be an eco-friendly tote bag workshop. Letting go of the old to replenish the fruits of self creation. Recycled and RejuvenatedThese workshops will go over two eco-friendly ways to imprint/ dye fabric, sewing 101, and the construction of an up-cycled tote bag. Classes will be lead by Ghyanni Ferraer. Ghyanni Ferraer obtains a holistic and spiritual approach to designing. "Creating as you are feeling is healing. I construct with God, and invite my ancestors in this practice. I am humbled by the fact that I am not the best designer. I simply enjoy what I do. I want to share my love for sewing with others. Learning and collaborating with the intent to create out of pure transparency allowing our true forms to arise." -Ghyanni FerraerSewing is more than stitching two pieces of fabric together, it's a practice that fully indulges a being to focus. Your mind, eyes, and hands are occupied by a drive. What takes up most of your time? What are you thinking in that brain of yours? These classes will be centered around the following question: Where is your focus? Each class we will be participating in "rejuvenating activities". Diving into the depths of your focus to project into you craft. These "rejuvenating activities" will not be shared until the day of our first class.
