Description
Roswell Photography Workshop with Amanda Hunter and Maddy Houston with a BoHo theme. Location is an old barn with an open field. Roswell Photography Workshops will be returning to Birmingham Park on Sunday March 13th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with Amanda Hunter and Maddy Houston! This will be a two model Workshop with a maximum of only twelve photographers. Amanda is not a stranger to this group or photographers in Atlanta. She is one of the most sought after models in the area. For those who are not familiar with Amanda check out her Instagram at @onepunchmanda, she is incredible. Maddy is a good friend of Amanda's whom I have worked with several times. She also modeled at one of our workshops in the past. She is stunning and will be a welcome addition to your portfolio. For those of you not familiar with Birmingham Park in Milton, GA, there is an old barn surrounded by a large field and some trails. We've held several workshops at this location and it's the perfect setting for portrait photography. The theme will be BoHo, however the models may bring a Country or Western look with them. There is a strict limit of 12 photographers (plus me) for this event. The cost is only $55 for two hours of portrait photography with two experienced models at a fantastic location. Instruction is provided, so if you are a new photographer or haven't photographed portraits before, come on out, you will be amazed at the results. This Meetup is Rain or Shine. Refunds will only be provided if I cancel the event. Here are a few things you should know about the location. When you turn onto Old Bull Pen Road the paved surface will end just past the Firehouse. Continue straight, do NOT bear left, to the end of the road. There is plenty of parking. There will be a short five minute walk to the Old Barn which is adjacent to a large field. There are also walking trails in the woods and on occasion you may see people riding horses on the trails. It is highly recommended you wear hiking shoes or boots as the paths are kind of rough and the grass may be tall, which is great for the type of photography we'll be doing. Since this is a wide open location feel free to bring your lights, just be considerate of other photographers. There are no restroom facilities at this location, but in the event of an emergency there is a Publix just a few blocks away. This is a public park so there may be another photographer or two out there, but this is not a high use park, and we all work around each other as there is plenty of space. A non-commercial model release will be provided. Tips for the models are highly encouraged!
