Death Metal Bass Player and Guitar Player looking for jam buddies

Two friends who sit around listening to and jamming along with death metal tunes are looking for others to jam with. We have little experience playing with other musicians, but we play at a decent level and are committed to improving. Looking for something fun in the meantime, maybe working our way up to gigs in the future. Influences include Cannibal Corpse, Death, Cattle Decapitation, Bloodbath, Morbid Angel, Cryptopsy, Dying Fetus, etc. Also interested in songwriting, with a few riffs here and there. We have practice equipment and a spot to practice quietly, but no place for drums.
