We're back! Enjoy a picnic supper in the beautiful setting of Mount Holly Cemetery. Stroll the grounds and explore the history! Mount Holly's Annual Spring Picnic Returns!  Come to a family-friendly fundraiser for the beautiful historic cemetery in the heart of downtown Little Rock.  The cemetery was donated to the city in 1843. Its serene beauty adds to the fascinating tales its denizens have to tell.  Spend time exploring the cemetery's iconic spaces with a self-guided tour of select graves. Enjoy live music from Central High School's Madrigal Singers and Jazz Ensemble. Appetizers and a box supper will be served, accompanied by wine, lemonade, or water.  Visit Mount Holly Cemetery, the treasure in the heart of Little Rock’s Historic District. Please join us for the festivities - and bring the family! FAQ What are my transport/parking options for the event? The main gates on Broadway will be closed and there is no parking on Broadway. Please park on 13th Street or around the corner and enter the cemetery from the 13th Street entrance, midway down the block. Is there handicapped access? The terrain in the cemetery is unpaved and uneven. We invite everyone to come, but if you have mobility challenges, please allow extra time for moving around. What can/can't I bring to the event? Bring a picnic blanket, a folding chair, and your checkbook or credit card to pay for your auction wins. What if it rains? The show must go on! If it rains, we will hold a drive-through picnic. Cars will enter the cemetery from its back gate (accessible on Arch Street near the I-630 access road) and drive through the cemetery. The Madrigals and Jazz ensemble will sing and play if it's safe to do so. Pickknickers will be given their box suppers by Mount Holly volunteers.
