Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Mass Schedule and Covid-19 Provisions  By Connor Jennings and K.P. Lynne  For those wishing to attend in-person services on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2020 or Christmas Day, December 25, 2020...St. Bernard's Church located at 13030 West 143rd Street in Homer Glen, Illinois has a variety of safe, socially distanced, options available, as well as professionally video taped services to watch from the safety of home.  If you are sick, think you may be sick, or are uncomfortable with large gatherings due to the Covid-19 pandemic...keep in mind the Bishop has granted formal dispensation for attending Mass in public.  For those who are quarantining at home...a professionally video-taped Mass will be available for at-home viewing for your convenience and safety.  If you are healthy and choose to attend Christmas Eve or Christmas Day Mass in-person...reservations and masks are required. A complete list of days, times and details are explained below.  There will be 8 total Masses between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.Christmas Eve: 9am/2pm/4pm/6pm/10pmChristmas Day: 8:30am/10:30am/12:30pmRESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL MASSESRegister online at www.stbernardhg.org/christmasProper sanitizing will be taking place in between every mass.Be assured that seats will be socially distant.Masks are required.A Professionally Recorded Mass will be posted on the St. Bernard's Facebook Page and the St. Bernard's Website on Thursday morning (12/24) and it will stay on the FB/website all day Friday (12/25).Fr. Joe McCormick, OSA will be presiding over the recorded mass with Deacon Kevin Ryan assisting.You are invited to put the Mass on your TV and gather your household to view the Mass.Reminder: Mass is recorded every week for people to view at home.The Bishop reminds us that the obligation to attend mass is dispensed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
