Most of these are scams, there are no animals for sale; they just want to trick you into sending a deposit or to collect your personal information. Others are backyard breeders, torturing animals for profit, and lying about their "pedigrees". Here are the ways to identify a scam ad: -No amount given for the "rehoming fee". Rehoming is $250 or less. -Phone number or email address ON the picture. -Pictures obviously swiped from the internet, looking like they were taken by a professional. -Pictures of animals inside a car (they were just picked up for cheap/free and the person is looking to "flip" them for a profit asap). -Pictures of the animals being held up on display like a street corner fruit vendor (backyard breeders). -Mixed loWer cASe anD UpPer CaSe letters. -Use of symbols //- along with++++ letters. -Any post containing the words French, frenchie, bengal, maltipoo, goldendoodle, sheepdog, bulldog. ALL of these are frauds or backyard breeders, immediately flag them for removal. Legitimate breeders do not use CRAIGSLIST!
