The latest edition of the MIDNIGHT BLUE Bay Area Blues band started performing in 2018. The musicians have a longtime history of playing rock and blues: John Betts, vocals and harmonica (West Coast Blues, Betts Family Band), John Burt, lead vocals and guitar (Blues Wizards), Lijah, vocals, Don Estavan, vocals and guitar, Todd Armstrong, drums (Hillcrest Band), and David Toy, vocals, bass and management (Brothers and the Sisters, Measure Up). We play authentic Blues, Rock ’n’ Roll and more. We honor the way the songs were intended by the original songwriters. We deliver the best interpretations we can of the songs of the Greatest Blues and Rock n’ Roll Songwriters of the 40’s,50’s and 60’s. We carry on the legacy and tradition of performing live regularly at juke joints, bars and brew pubs, on the Coast and the Peninsula. We estimate we have a combination of personal email lists of 300-500 "regulars", plus we use FB ads plus boost our events and buy 2,500-5,000 impressions per event. With 6 band members there is always a good word of mouth campaign as well. We design and print simple, legible snd effective posters, flyers, calendars and small handouts for distribution through our channels of music stores, restaurants and bars. We use the same artwork to market consistently, through email blasts, and FB ads. We incorporate the company logo of each venue with their address and contact numbers and websites in a prominent position on each advertisement.
