Description
WCI is looking for a Day Habilitation Specialist that will directly support Individuals with developmental and other disabilities served though the Day Habilitation Services program.
Essential Duties:
1. Ensure and safeguard individuals' human dignity, rights.
2. Implement Individual Service Plan (ISP) objectives.
3. Document each persons progress towards ISP objectives.
4. Assist individuals physically as necessary, including, but not limited to
Regularity lift and/or transfer/move Individuals in and out wheelchairs, vehicles up from and down to a mat etc.
Any lifting over 30 lbs requires assistance.
Qualifications:
1. At least one year’s experience and/or training in working with Individuals with intellectual, developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injury
2. High school diploma or GED
3. Valid MA driver's license
4. Ability to pass Safety-Care behavior management certification.
5. Current First/CPR certification
Job Type: Full-time
Payrate - $16 per/hr.
