New Distillery Coming To East Northport's Hewitt Square

EAST NORTHPORT, NY — East Northport is getting its very own distillery this spring. Twisted Cow Distillery is currently under construction in Hewitt Square, with a planned spring opening. The distillery is taking over the former Four Star Home space, after the shopping center received a brick facade facelift. Twisted Cow will be making spirits from local Long Island grains. There will be a tasting room, and food from local restaurants available, owner John Pawluk told the Northport Journal in October. Pawluk, who lives in East Northport, said that initially the distillery will offer unaged spirits like vodka, while aged spirits like bourbon are in the works.
