WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two Prince William County School buses were shot by BB guns on Monday, police said. The Prince William County Police Department said the buses were shot at different times in Woodbridge. The incidents occurred near the intersection of West Longview Drive and Franklin Street, police said. Officers responded to the scene around 2:50 p.m. Authorities determined that a BB struck a passenger side window of a school bus. No students were on the bus at the time. The bus driver was onboard along with a bus attendant and two family members, an infant and a 14-year-old. Nobody was injured, police said. As officers investigated the incident, they learned that a second bus had been shot earlier in the day. The earlier incident was not initially reported to police. The police department did not release any suspect description. Anyone with more information about the incidents can contact the police department's tipline at 703-792-7000.
