Press release from Pullman & Comley: March 8, 2022 Pullman & Comley, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of three associates to the firm — Matthew D. Glennon, Bianca LoGiurato and Tobe Umeugo. Matthew D. Glennon, of Milford, an associate in the Business Organizations and Finance practice, assists clients in executing complex business matters. He has wide-ranging experience that includes mergers and acquisitions, financing, debt transactions, advising on business formation and ownership transition matters, and providing general counsel services to clients. Matt began his legal career as a staff attorney at a leading global hedge fund. Matt received his B.S. from Southern Connecticut State University, his M.B.A. from Quinnipiac University and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law. Bianca LoGiurato, of Bridgeport, an associate in the firm's Litigation practice, has experience working in municipal and transportation litigation and insurance defense. She joins Pullman & Comley from a litigation boutique firm where she provided support during pre-trial motion practice, discovery disputes, and alternative dispute resolution. While in law school, she served as a legal intern at the Department of Justice in the Office of Civil Rights Enforcement, where her clinical work focused on discrimination, federal hate crime law and its prosecution, and national LGBT+ hate crime law. Prior to law school, Bianca worked as a Senior Victims' Advocate for the Delaware County District Attorney's Office in Pennsylvania. Bianca received her B.A. from Dickinson College and her J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law. Tobe Umeugo, of Ansonia, an associate in the firm's Business Organizations and Finance and Health Care practices, brings a unique perspective to his role having earned degrees as both an attorney and a registered nurse. He initially joined the firm as an 1L Scholar in 2019. Tobe previously worked in the legal and risk services department of a major healthcare system and is able to use that experience to review clients' internal processes and policies for optimization and compliance with regulations. He served on the Connecticut Supreme Court Jury Selection Task Force during law school and continues in that role today. Tobe received his B.S., summa cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Nursing and his J.D., summa cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
