SUMMIT, NJ — For Summit residents looking for ways to help out Ukraine during this difficult time, people can purchase lawn signs that show their support for the country.
Summit resident Amy Klingaman-Roselle posted in a local Summit Facebook group that she is working with neighboring towns — Berkeley Heights, New Providence and Warren — to help support the global humanitarian effort to support Ukraine.
The lawn signs cost $25 each and display an American flag with a blue and yellow ribbon over it, as well as a sunflower over the Ukrainian flag on the back.
Klingaman-Roselle said the funds will be directed to organizations providing the needed support for the Ukrainians. Right now medical supplies, shelter and basic needs are what is needed most.
For those interested in ordering a sign, use the following Google form.
Once the order is placed, Klingaman-Roselle will schedule a time for either pick up or delivery.
Klingaman-Roselle said her cousin Daniela Buldo McDonnell of Berkeley Heights started this idea and she is the Summit conduit for people to participate.
