Here are the top stories in Boulder today: CDOT's crumbling infrastructure takes its toll on aging Floyd Hill overpass. Several cars were damaged when a four foot wide hole in the road surface broke away on the I-70 overpass last Wednesday. The hole was so big, it took more than a day to repair. The Colorado Department of Transportation took the opportunity to use the road damage as yet another reason that state lawmakers should approve the $700M the agency is seeking to replace the stretch of highway that includes the crumbling overpass. (CBS4)Eldorado Canyon will be the first state park to have timed entry. If you are traveling to Eldorado Canyon State Park by car this summer, it looks like you'll need a timed-entry ticket, should the state's parks commission approve a recommendation this week. (CO Sun) Xcel proposed rebates won't help offset expensive building codes in Superior any time soon. Rebates that have been touted by Xcel Energy to Marshall Fire victims, aren't guaranteed. The proposed $7,500 rebates have not been approved by the Public Utilities Commission, a process that probably won't take place until sometime in 2023. The city's goal is to make city streets safer for everyone with an emphasis on equity, reliability, choice and support for Boulder's climate commitment. The bombshell Colorado Spring Independent report alleges that CSPD had placed undercover officers within several activist groups. Police say they were investigating criminal activity, not trying to interfere with individuals exercising their First Amendment rights.
