Description

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Police said a Maryland flag and flagpole were stolen recently from the front of an Annapolis home. Officers responded to the call in the unit block of Spa Road last Thursday around 6:48 a.m. The victim estimated that the items were worth $50, a press release said. The Annapolis Police Department said it heard about a stolen iPhone three hours later. That unrelated call came from the 200 block of Janwall Street. The victim told authorities that the suspect illegally entered the building and took the phone from an office. Police said they found and arrested the suspect nearby. Officers did not identify the arrestee. The phone was returned. Have a story idea? Please contact me at [email protected] with any pitches, tips or questions.
