WATSONVILLE, CA — A man and woman were found dead inside a parked van near the Rodeway Inn parking lot in Watsonville Tuesday around 11:30 a.m. Watsonville Police Department spokesperson Michelle Pulido told Patch the preliminary investigation points to a drug overdose. Pulido also said there were no suspicious circumstances to report. "It is unfortunate; we see this a lot," Pulido told Patch. The Santa Cruz County Coroner will provide identities soon. The hotel has not been closed. The case is still under investigation.
