Here are the top three stories today in Franklin: Fourth Capital announced its plans to open a new branch in the Historic Downtown of the City of Franklin. Fourth Capital is a prominent community bank located in Middle Tennessee since 2004. The bank's second Williamson County location will be at 302 Public Square, its fourth location in the region. (Vanderbilt Hustle) According to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, last year state traffic recorded 17 fatalities, more than 900 crashes, and 406 property damage crashes along the I-65 corridor. On Sunday, law agencies sought to reduce those numbers by posting law agencies up and down the I-65 as part of Operation Impact 65. Hundreds of cars were stopped and officers wrote 284 speeding tickets with some motorists going faster than 90 miles per hour and three of them were reportedly topping triple digits.
