DOWNERS GROVE, IL ­­­— A Chicago woman who was last seen in Downers Grove and who was believed to be in danger has been located, police said on Tuesday. Mary Buckhanon, 80, was found after she was believed to have been driving a gray 2017 Hyundai sport utility vehicle with Illinois license plate ZY50251, police said. The alert was issued at the request of the Chicago Police Department, which had been requesting assistance in locating Buckhanon. Chicago Police reported that she was found late Tuesday morning. Chicago Police said on Tuesday morning that Buckhanon may be in need of medical attention and recently started showing early signs of dementia.
