GRESHAM, OR — Police say that Kassandra Kitchens had been avoiding capture since last September. That run ended March 3. She is charged with being one of five people who lured a drug dealer to his death. The other four people are in custody. Officials say that Kitchens and others convinced 35-year-old Andrew Sherrell to downtown Portland from Bend. He was then absucted, bound and beaten, driven to Gresham, executed, and dumped along the side of the road. They add that Sherrell had been targeted because he was involved in selling drugs from Central Oregon and Portland had amassed a large drug debt. The other four people charged are are Cesar Estrada-Nava, 31, of Portland; D'Sean Maurice Baker, 43, of Portland; Andrew Bushnell, 36, of Eugene; and, Christian Joshua Wobbe, 23, of Portland. Gresham Police say that while the others were arrested last year, Kitchens was arrested on March 3 by Portland Police. No other details about her arrest have been released.
