Come join our team here at Iceoplex! Iceoplex is a family-owned ice skating rink that has been operating since 1994. We are a busy Ice skating rink offering youth and adult hockey, figure skating, public sessions, broomball, and curling. We are seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Ice attendants to help us become the best skating rink we can be. - This position is either part-time or full-time depending on the employee. - Responsibilities include but are not limited to; general cleaning of the facility, assisting customers and handing out rental skates during our public sessions. Assisting Zamboni drivers during ice resurfacing, basic maintenance of the Zamboni between resurfacing. - Requirements: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time. Must have reliable transportation. Ideal candidates must be able to work during the afternoons(starting around noon). experience with tools is a plus but not required. - This is a great entry-level job for a person interested in learning valuable life skills, for a person interested in learning how to work with tools, and to learn basic mechanical knowledge. -If you are interested in joining our team, please respond to this ad to set up a time for you to come in and fill out an application.
