NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT TODAY!! HE WILL BE PUT DOWN MARCH 9 IN THE AM.....Pascal #a4685433 age 2 years old. He is a black lab/basset hound. NO kids or small animals! Must be an ONLY dog. Hi, I'm Pascal I'm really struggling bad in the shelter. Upon intake I was a happy boy! My tail was wagging a mile a minute, even though I came in with a sore, sensitive ear and something wrong with my eye. I was whimpering throughout exam. It hurt me but I let them exam me anyways. I even engaged in a positive way when handled. I have been through a lot here since arriving in 1/26! Besides having an ear/eye infection I had to get neutered, then I caught a cold. That is gone thank God! I thought maybe I would be ready for adoption. I was doing my best to be a good boy in this noisy shelter environment. The loud barking and noises really make me reactive in my kennel. I'm very reactive to other dogs here. I'm begging for my life now and I'm really sorry that and I did that, I even apologized and tried to make it better. I have tried to be on my best behavior ever since. But they had told me I must die now unless someone rescues me. I don't want to die. I have until 3/8 for someone to save me. I do take treats gently, once out of shelter I walk on a relaxed leash. I also listen well and enjoy petting and sitting next to someone. I'm so lonely and confused here. And the noise here is making me crazy, once I get out of this environment, I'm much calmer! I just need a calm no dog environment to relax in and to chill. I don't really like other dogs and their barking makes me so very anxious. I absolutely must be an only dog.
